Ugh! This photo has taken me TWO DAYS to post. I'm about as frustrated as frustrated can get!

Anyhow, I know this isn't probably the most creative but it's all I could think of. I took this while watching Wed's episode of "Lost" yesterday morning. It's right after Sawyer kissed Kate.

Approximately how many hours per week do you spend reading other blogs?

I haven't been too good to visit lately but I would guess about 5+.

I would say something have to do with Star Wars. That seems to be the big thing in my household.

Salad:

What is the most interesting tourist attraction you've ever visited?

We don't travel too much but I would say the Alamo, which I visited sometime during my jr high years.

Main Course:

If you could give an award to anyone for anything, who would it be and what would the award be titled?

I would have to give it to hubby for doing his best to hold things together during my recent rough spot. I think it would be titled something like "For Surviving the Witch"

Dessert:

What do you think your favorite color reveals about your personality?

Since my favorite color is pink; you'd think it would say I am pretty girly. But really I'm not. I can be a toughy!

Thirteen Things I Tivo


1. All My Children; even though I do typically get to watch it when it's on; sometimes I'm in the middle of making lunch or playing with the youngest that I miss key parts. I don't like to get out of the loop.

2. Lost; it comes on while we are at Awanas & after renting Season 1 & 2 to get caught up, I don't want to get "lost" again.

3. The Nine; this comes on after Lost but I'm busy watching lost so I tivo it.  1st episode looked good, I'm already hooked.

4. Boston Legal; Dennie Crane is a hoot & hubby laughs while watching this show like there is no tomarrow.

5. Reba; WB changed to CW (?) & it doesn't look like Reba is being aired anymore. HOWEVER, reruns are in play on Lifetime. If you haven't watched Reba; you simply must. It's a good 30 min comedy.

6. Heroes; this is Hubby's show so I have nothing to offer about it.

7. Eureke; this is also Hubby's show.

8. Grey's Anatomy; this is on while Hubby is teaching & he can't bare to miss a single second so I tivo it for him. (Plus I like to watch McDreamy again the following afternoon. No harm in that!)

9. I like that I'm a huge football fan, mainly Broncos, & we have games on all day Sunday &amp;amp;amp; on Monday night. This is something my husband is also pleased with.

10.  8 Degrees; although I missed last weeks, it still looks to be a good one.

11. Desperate Housewives; hey it's on when Sunday Night Football is on & well you know my priorities.

12. Brothers & Sisters; yep got hooked on that one.

13. The Broncos weekly football game.  Don't you know I love watching it over again, especially if we win!

Would you believe that I took this picture at Cabela's? A few weekends back the inlaws came into town for the day & we took FIL here. He's a big fisherman. This store has tons of "stuffed" animal exhibits. Two rooms full & a HUGE mountain in the middle of the store. Not to mention this awesome fish tank with the biggest catfish I've ever seen. Sadly the picture did not turn out. :-(

Would you believe my daughter's eyes are really bluer than they appear in this photo? All the men/boys in the family have brown, I have green/hazel & she has these beautiful blue eyes. Lucky duck!

This is my oldest son's favorite ride at Six Flags ~ Superman Tower of Power. I haven't ridden it as I can't stand rides that take you up & then drop you. This one drops you just a little bit, takes you back up only to drop you more; then up, then down until it drops you all the way. MMM yeah I'd have upchucked!

Thirteen Things I like about ME


1.  I like that my hair is always silky & soft; regardless of the color.
 
2.  I like that I can cook, just don't always want to.
 
3. I like that when I'm on top of my game & feeling good, I keep our home neat & tidy to where hubby doesn't have to do anything to help out.
 
4. I like that I'm a good driver & that my Mom feels at ease when in the car with me. She gets very nervous about the highways & mix-masters up here but is very relaxed when I am driving.
 
5. I like that I stopped trying to be in control of my life & let God take the wheel. It's alot easier to let him stress out & handle issues than do it myself.
 
6.  I like that I don't work outside the home & therefore my kids are my top priority.
 
7.  I like that I try to be a good friend & neighbor & help out when in need.
 
8.  I like that I'm sort of creative & have hand painted the kids rooms.
 
9. I like that I'm a huge football fan, mainly Broncos, & we have games on all day Sunday & on Monday night. This is something my husband is also pleased with.
 
10.  I like that I am constantly working on my relationship with God.
 
11.  I like that I am constantly working on my realtionship with hubby.
 
12.  I like that when I get it in my head to do something, I finish the job & not leave it half done.
 
13.  I like that I love to read; just don't always have enough time to do it.
 
 
MAN! That wasn't easy & I probably am reaching on a few. I think I need to work at trying to find more things I like about me.

Isn't this lovely? Found it in my daughter's room yesterday. She wrote this because I sent her to her room on Saturday for whining during dinner. We talked about it when she got home from school & she cried like there was no tomarrow, she thought I was mad. I wasn't mad but concerned..... I mean isn't she too young to even have these thoughts??

Tackle it Tuesday #1

We've all got "projects" that we just don't want to do. Even my Flylady routines can't help get me motivated to do them. So in reading blogs I found this neat "Tackle it Tuesday" floating around & thought; hmmm I should give that a whirl. And here I am. I know I'm probably doing this backwards by posting pictures first, working & then posting my results; but this is what works for me.

So my closet is OUT OF CONTROL! As you can tell by these photos; so that is what I am going to tackle today. Wish me luck & off I go. TA TA FOR NOW!

I'm feeling pretty good about how it looks; problem is always how to keep it that way. And now I get to deal with the stuff I didn't put back in the closet. I need to find a way to let go of my daughter's nice dresses, the ones I paid good $$ for, it's hard to just put them in the Goodwill pile but the resale shop wants next to nothing for them. And so I just keep them. Sad isn't it.

Thirteen Things aboutWHY I'M READY FOR SOME FOOTBAll!!!

1. Denver Bronco Football is better than anything on this world!

2. The fact that Shanahan is a master mind with his offensive line just amazes me.

3. Seeing the running back take off with the ball, spin his way out of a few tackles, hurdle over fallen defensive linemen & run down the field for the touchdown is just awesome!

4. Watching the wide receiver pluck what appears to be an uncatchable ball out of the air for the 1st down is mind blowing. And those catches usually come at a key point of the game.

5. To watch the QB dance his way out of being sacked to throw a hail mary & win the game is heart stopping.

6. Being on my knees in front of the tv, rocking back & forth with my hands in prayer while the defense is on the field trying to stop the drive. Oh the days where Romanowski ruled the field! Although John Lynch is about as bad assed as they come & Al Wilson ROCKS1

7. Seeing Miles dancing on the sideline & working the crowd.

8. Thunder galloping through the endzone after a touch down.

9. Always being amazed at Jason Elam & his kicking skills.

10. See the Bronco Barrell guy in the stands at every game. {I got to meet him ya know & have my picture taken with him. He's totally cool!}

11. Getting to spend my entire Sunday afternoon watching football with hubby, even if the Broncos are not televised; we watch as many teams in our division that we can & cheer for the other team. Hey, anything for the cause!

12. Here's something a tad embaressing to admit to; I like to see those butts in those tight football pants. Hey, I haven't seen a tush yet that doesn't look hot in those pants. KWIM?

13. The fact that we won back to back Super Bowls & I'm itching to see them do it again always makes football season exciting for me. I'm a true orange crush fan who never bashes or abandons her team. I'm with them til the end!

I don't remember what it was I was taking a picture of; but this was taken at the first part of August while on our way home from visiting our parents. Let me tell you, it's not easy to take a picture while driving 75 mph.

Gosh off the top of my head I can't think of any. I do recall being in the car with my Mom once & listening to her butcher a song. I don't remember the name of the song but I do know I put her straight on the lyrics. Once she realized what the song was bout, she never sang it again.
